Glenn Jones is one of my very favorite t-shirt designers. His concepts are so original and the art is impeccable. Even though I can't stand the iPhone (had one for 9 months, but I dropped over half my calls), I love this design. Very timely too with what's going on in Somalia. Cheers, Glenn.
In this time of Thanksgiving, we should all give back to the community by being a mentor to an underprivileged youngster...or at least look like we did by buying this t-shirt!
Snorg tees turned the Death Star into a livable urban community. I wonder how much they pay in taxes there. Do you think they have viable healthcare system?
We love Goodfellas! One of the best movies of all time, hands down. A friend of the site came up with this idea and we were skeptical, but it turned out great! We're very proud of our "Funny How?" tee.
Over the last few weeks, Busted Tees has introduced outside artist tees as new offers. A couple of weeks ago was Patrick Moberg's Animal Pharm designs.
This weeks designs are from Go Ape Shirts by various artists. Of course, they picked the best ones from the collection. My personal favorite is the Zombie of Oz by Dean Fraser.
This is my Satan's Chalice tee from the 2007 tour. I probably wear this one more than any other tee in my closet. In case you haven't heard of them, they are one of the most under-rated sick ass bands around. Currently they're on hiatus due to a coked out band member, but never-the-less, they rock.
As far as I know, Busted Tees doesn't disclose it's sales numbers, but by God I wish they did. I wish that because I wonder how many of the "Ask me about dinosaurs" t-shirts they sold. I think it's hilarious, but that's only because one of my good friends works at a children's dinosaur museum telling snotty little kids dinosaur facts every day. As soon as I saw this shirt, I laughed my ass off and sent it on to my buddy. I'm not sure he bought it, but that's my point. Who all would be interested in this shirt? Dinosaur museum workers, junior high science teachers, umm...That's all I can think of.
Maybe I'm odd, but I only wear t-shirts I personally relate to me. While I get the humor in this t-shirt, do people who aren't friends with dinosaur museum workers think it's funny?
Amendment: Clearly people love this shirt. Even the non-dinosaur enthusiast. I now see the light. During the election, I was contemplating making a spoof of this tee. Instead of a dinosaur, I would put in Sarah Palin. If you don't get it, watch Matt Damon's interview on YouTube. Let me know what you think.
Frank's t-shirt rental jumped out at me instantly. It's yet another idea I wished I had thought of. It's one of those jokes you can't quite explain why it's funny. The idea of renting a t-shirt is disgusting, which I suppose, is the root of it's humor. The second print at the bottom of the shirt with the "Rental Agreement" is the icing on the cake.
